Coolant Pump Failing

Car has been dripping small amounts of coolant onto the garage floor.

Traced the coolant and found it leaking from the weep hole on the coolant pump. This is a sure sign the pump is going bad.

When internal seals wear out, coolant will weep out of this hole, letting you or the mechanic know that it is time to replace the pump.

New pump with the weep hole clearly visible.

  5. Yes there is an oil pressure switch under the transmission. Perhaps the SC didn't change the seal, hence the leakage.

  6. Nice blog, mate!
I have a 206 too, my car don't have an air conditioning system and I want to install it by myself.
Do you have some idea what I need? A list of parts, procedures, configurations, etc....

    Thank you so much!

  7. I'm not very sure, but I think you'll need a compressor, dryer, evaporator, radiator, plumbing, wiring harnesses and air conditioning controls. I guess the ECU needs to be updated as well.

  8. I'm searching here about ar conditioner "kits".
Some people sells wrecked car parts and make kits with almost everything needs to install a AC system.
About the ECU programing, I want to buy the Lexia system to do that. I hope it works.

Thanks for your help, keep posting!
