Auxiliary Drive Belt & Rollers

The belt roller (in the middle) is making noises now. Bad bearings!

Replacement part is 5751.G3.

New design with plastic material.

Just a picture of the auxiliary drive belt 5750.KX.

The main pulley is also broken. The pulley is constructed from 3 rings which are tightly fitted to each other...

...but this one is loose and the rings are slipping, as evidenced by the misalignment of the white marker on the rings. When it gets wet in the rain, the rings slips and does not drive the power steering pump and alternator, resulting in loss of power steering and a drained battery.

It is so loose that the pieces can be separated easily by hand.

  3. hello mr talenta,

1)i have problem with my power steering, recently i noticed there a power steering fluid lost( below min in the ps reservoir. and my ps pump make a hissing noise when turning, i had topup the fluid, but still the noise is still there. My power steering still work.

Is my power steering pump defective?

    2) There are two hoses connecting to the radiator at the bottom . the larger is the coolant hose. and the smaller one i dunno what is it) i notice there is a leaking there at the connection, brown coloured fluid( PS FLUID??) . is the hose the culprit for my power steering fluid lost? what is the smaller hose for?

sorry for asking too many questions.
Still a newb with my 206b.
