Coolant Pump Failing

Car has been dripping small amounts of coolant onto the garage floor.

Traced the coolant and found it leaking from the weep hole on the coolant pump. This is a sure sign the pump is going bad.

When internal seals wear out, coolant will weep out of this hole, letting you or the mechanic know that it is time to replace the pump.

New pump with the weep hole clearly visible.

Auxiliary Drive Belt & Rollers

The belt roller (in the middle) is making noises now. Bad bearings!

Replacement part is 5751.G3.

New design with plastic material.

Just a picture of the auxiliary drive belt 5750.KX.

The main pulley is also broken. The pulley is constructed from 3 rings which are tightly fitted to each other...

...but this one is loose and the rings are slipping, as evidenced by the misalignment of the white marker on the rings. When it gets wet in the rain, the rings slips and does not drive the power steering pump and alternator, resulting in loss of power steering and a drained battery.

It is so loose that the pieces can be separated easily by hand.

Anti-roll Bar Drop Link Replacement

The drop link is making knocking sounds and was replaced.

New and old comparison.

The rubber boot broke and dirt had eaten into the metal.

New drop link in its place.

Part number 5087.59 fits the car.

Starter Motor

I happened to be crawling under the car checking the steering rack and found the starter motor, located behind the engine block, under the air intake.
